Aspen Power Station, NW36-33-24 W2nd, 17 km west of Lanigan, SK · Estimated duration: 2 weeks + · per diem $170 per day paid as per Aspen Enabled (130 km radius). Travel Allowance: .72 cent per km (less 30km free zone). No Camp / No Transportation provided. Any member who resides outside 130k from the jobsite will receive LOA upon supplying adequate documents. Any members receiving LOA will not receive daily travel.
5 x RSE's needed. This is a travel job. Orientation starts October 20th @ 6:30am. Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (2 breaks). Rotation: 14/7, 10 hours per day (Tuesday - Monday). 7-Day Shift ending October 26th – 7 days off – Continue 14/7 on November 3rd. Type of work: Walking, heavy lifting, climbing, bending, EWP / heights, ladders, and stairs work. Working in tight areas, outdoor work. Job requirements: CSTS-09 (must be within 3 years), CODC Rights & Responsibilities can be done online (pin provided by IBEW 529), is MANDATORY. WHMIS (must be within 3 years). Fall Protection and Aerial Work Platform training (theory & practical) is Mandatory as per Aspen requirements. Valid SK JM License for Journeyman required (Saskatchewan license - different jurisdiction from IBEW 2085's own license). QC Experience Preferred. **CLEAR DRUG AND ALCOHOL TEST** required. **Please Note: This call is being posted on 529 Saskatoon's local and IBEW 2038 at the same time.
